"Show Us Your River" 2009 TV Commercial Rules and Regulations
• WXRV will be accepting listener submissions on line from April 20, 2009 through May 29, 2009.
• Round One of judging will take place with WXRV staff May 30th 2009 through June 12th, 2009 and the Top Five finalists will be announced at 5pm June 12th, 2009.
• Round Two of judging will take place June 18th at the Hard Rock Café in Boston at 8pm, with a panel of media and advertising experts (TBA)
• Judges decision is final and binding. This is NOT a random choice contest.
• WXRV is not responsible for entries that encounter any computer problems with delivery to WXRV or any difficulty viewing.
• First Place winner receives two tickets to see Amy MacDonald, the Killers and Cold Play in Brussels, Belgium on July 3rd, 2009, along with roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations. Winner and guest are responsible for providing passports and must be 21 or over. First place winner also receives $1,000 spending cash and the following equipment valued at $3,154.
·Avid Media Composer 3.5 Professional video editing software.
·Pro Tools Mbox 2 Mini audio creation and production system.
·M-Audio Nova condenser microphone
·Studiophile AV desktop speakers
The first through fourth runners-up will receive the following computer equipment:
(1st Runner up chooses and then the 2nd Runner chooses second, etc.)
·Pinnacle Studio Moviebox Ultimate video editing software/hardware package.
·Session Music Producer recording software and USB microphone package.
·Studiophile AV 30 desktop speakers
·M-Audio Keystation 61es keyboard controller.
Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with prizes, and must submit their social security numbers or they will forfeit their prize.
• Prizes must be accepted or forfeited.
• Submissions MUST be uploaded to “You Tube” and contestants must email WXRV the URL address of the You Tube video submission along with name, address and daytime phone number to showusyourriver@92.5theriver.com.
• The commercial must be 29 seconds and contain the following: “92.5 The River” and “Boston’s Independent Radio.”
•Everyone appearing in the commercial must sign a release form before the commercial airs on any Boston or N.H. television or cable outlet. Release forms are available at www.theriverboston.com and must be sent to the address provided or entry will be disqualified. In the case of minors appearing in the commercial, a parent or legal guardian must sign the release form.
•Entries must be from persons living in the WXRV listening area.
•The winner and all participants shall receive no further compensation if and when their commercial airs on radio, TV or cable.
•The “Show Us Your River” promotion is not a typical WXRV contest; and therefore it is open to anyone who has won a prize anytime previously on WXRV.
• Employees and relatives of employees working in radio are not eligible.
•Other than the above rules, WXRV standard contest rules apply.
